About Estancia Times Estancia Times is for the common people, for everyone who calls this port town home. I’m Mark Morales, from Estancia, Northern Iloilo. I started this site to celebrate our everyday life — the early light at the fish port, the smell of uga drying in the sun, the laughter at low tide during panginhas, the stories of Aswang told by lolas, and the quiet hard work of vendors, drivers, teachers, and students. I walk our streets, I listen in the market, I join community meetings, and I write what I see in simple words. Every photo is mine, every story is checked with the people who live it. This is good news about ordinary people doing extraordinary things. It is a place for hope, for bayanihan, and for remembering that Estancia is strong because of its people. If you have a story to share, message me. This is your newspaper.
